Welcome to the New Valérie Melançon Website!

“Loved” by Valérie Melançon

This new site is mobile friendly, dynamic, and focused on connecting visitors with Valérie’s Original Oil Paintings. Take your time and look around, I think you’ll like what you see!

Not sure where to start, here is what I recommend:

  1. Valérie’s Artist Statement is a great place to begin. You will learn more about Valérie, what inspires her, and what she hopes to achieve with her storytelling through oil paintings.
  2. The Portfolio lets you dive in and explore the artwork. There are 5 different portfolio categories (soon to be 6).
    • Chronologique has all of the painting shown on the website in date order (newest first).
    • Classiques has a group of paintings heavily influenced by the ideas of the Pre-Raphaelites.
    • Angéliques has a wonderful group of paintings with an angel as the primary character.
    • Surréalistes is one of the newest portfolio categories where Valérie combines surreal and classical styles.
    • D’archives has paintings created before 2010
  3. Learn even more about Valérie with the Artist Biography.
  4. If you haven’t already done so, subscribe to Valérie’s Studio News to receive email updates about new paintings, openings, special art events, and new blog posts.

I hope you love the new website! Leave a comment or send an email to the studio if you have any recommendations or just want to say Hi.

I do love the new website. You did a great job Steven. It is an easy way to view all the beautiful paintings by putting them into classifications. I hope you are both doing well and selling a lot of paintings. Christmas is coming and I am hoping one of mine will sell at the Pineapple Gallery. Happy Thanksgiving.

Hello, Terry. So glad you love the new website! This was a collaborative project with me, Valérie, and the VM Studio team. Everybody did a great job, and we’re glad to have it up and running.

Valérie and I are doing very well. Best of luck with the Pineapple Gallery. Hope you and your family have wonderful holidays!
